Snowstorm of the century...

.....actually this is the 2nd snowstorm of the century we have had in a week!So, here are some pics from Bryn Mawr and Villanova, PA. These pics show [in reverse order] my trip home from the office around 1PM today.

Snow Report....

....at 5PM EST. It's stopped for a few hours now. Got the cars out- went to WAWA and got milk and newspapers. I think the final tally hear was 18-20 inches. Here are some more pics.

Snow Report.....

........at 9AM on Saturday, Feb. 6th. Accumulation here west of Philly is 14-16 inches so far. Shoveled the back walk and expect plow to do the driveway by noon.

Blue Jays Are Easier ........

......to catch on film when it's freezing outside? I had been trying to get a good picture of the Blue Jay in the back yard for a while. This morning, it landed on a bush just outside the kitchen window. Go figure?

Efficiency

I work on projects that last for short to intermediate periods (6 to 18 months on average) and I learned that the standard-style shelves and cabinets are not as useful to me as this Ikea shelving unit. I now reserve a slot for each project and a couple slots for "to do lists" etc.

It works great. I have fewer long term files be ause I don't do much long-term work. In fact, I specialize in short-term relationships [wish I would have understood that a long time ago].

My Money Tree

One of my very best friends gave me this Money Tree plant last year. So far, I have not killed it, it is almost two feet tall and I think it has brought me some luck money-wise. So Kiddo, you know who you are. Thanks so much.

Kessel's Korner..

...is right behind the condo we rented for the week on Ocean City, NJ. It is known for its long lines at night when people take a walk and buy their ice cream. It serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, has good milkshakes and burgers.

I am also posting here a pic of the flags on the neighboring properties and pics of my nephew's surfboard.

Celebrated 12 years on the same job on Thursday. My boss asked me how I could remenber the exact date. I told him "That is because every year on this date, I think about quitting"! Heh.
